In 1998 I was asked by Corey Feldman to shoot a promotional photograph of him and his friend Corey Haim. This was after I had worked with him photographing his front and back cover for his 2nd music release Still Searching For Soul. He had told me the photograph would be used for an autograph signing. I arrived at Feldman’s house and did a photoshoot with both actors that evening. Growing up with the 80’s, these two were all I ever watched. With film classic credits like License to DriveStand By MeLucasGoonies, and Lost Boys, there was always a great Hollywood adventure to get lost in. Seeing Feldman and Haim side by side in front of my film camera was more than a dream come true to my then 20-year-old self. Since then, twenty-two years have passed and I’ve worked with Corey Feldman on handfuls of promotional material including album covers, posters, and more.

Fulfilling a promise to his late best friend, on March 9, 2020, Corey Feldman will be broadcasting to the world for one day only, his new documentary titled ‘(My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys’ exposing to the world what he and his best friend endured as young actors in Hollywood. This streams live at 8 pm PST (11 pm EST). The project aims to address some endearing questions from the public. Jerk Of All Trades got a few words with Corey about his upcomingdocumentary.

Corey, what are you hoping to accomplish with this documentary?
Corey Feldman- The point of this whole thing is to raise awareness and create a call to action so people stop looking the other way, and start demanding justice for our children. However as important as all of that is, those were not the instigating causes to provoke the action of making this film. The motivation and determining factor was based on a promise I made to my best friend, that if he died before me I would find a way to get his truth told and try to bring his abuser to justice and that is why we are here. Eleven years after I made that promise I can finally say it’s being delivered on the 10 year anniversary of his death.
