Meet Maggie St. Thomas, author and founder of Jerk Of All Trades Magazine. Born in Dearborn, Michigan, she has been making waves on the west coast literary scene since 1993. Her journeys began as a teenager in print, with over 300 magazines featuring her work, she began her new adventure as an author in Fall of 2022 with a gorgeous debut book, “Still Life: The Photographs of Maggie St. Thomas,” which she passionately showcased during a mini-book tour across B&N bookstores along the west coast. Following the success of her debut, Maggie embarked on her next two releases, “Underwater Girl,” with illustrations by Christie Shinn, and “In Print: The Articles of Maggie St.Thomas (2018-2023).” celebrated in style at B&N in Surf City, USA, on Armistice Day, 11/11.
As Maggie sets out on her latest adventure, she launches “The Great Lakes Literary Loop Book Tour” on Sunday, April 14, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore. From there, she’ll engage with audiences for a book reading at the Dearborn Heights Library on Tuesday, April 16th, followed by an open mic event on Wednesday, April 17, in Detroit at 27th Letter Books. Finally, Pennsylvania, and New York anticipate her arrival, with the Great Lakes Literary Loop Book Tour reaching its conclusion on the 27th of April in Mentor, Ohio.
With her three books in tow, Maggie invites audiences to join her in an exploration through the passages of her works and engage in lively discussions about her journeys as a photographer and writer. She not only shares the essence of her books but also the inspiring tales behind her evolution as an author.
