Hundreds peacefully gathered at the Freedom Plaza in Watts on Monday, June 8, 2020, to march to Watts Towers for justice and all of the wrongful deaths in the community.  Members of the Watts Neighborhood Council, and the Housing Authority were present, as well as the  Watts Gang Task Force, and Hope Central Watts.  Gratitude was expressed for those who gathered and for those who allowed the protest to take place while keeping it peaceful with Watts love.  Speakers took turns on the microphone before the peaceful march talking about financial inequities in the neighborhood, fighting the good fight, and holding people accountable for change in the community while they shared excitement for everybody coming together for a better future.
